Our social commitment

The EPHE-PSL invests in talent investment of its teams because they are an integral part of the quality and know-how of the institution. Committed alongside PSL to the HRS4R ("Human Resources Strategy for Researchers"), the School's human resources policy is based on common values and commitments.

Promotion of diversity and equality, fight against discrimination, gender-based and sexual violence, racism and anti-Semitism

The EPHE-PSL is committed to promoting equality at all levels of education and in all departments , as well as to fighting discrimination, sexist and sexual harassment, racism and anti-Semitism.

EPHE's Equality Officer is Valentine Zuber, and she has assumed four essential functions:

  • vigilance, information and listening;
  • fighting against sexist and sexual, racist and anti-Semitic violence and harassment (contact: @email);
  • promoting equality in particular gender equality, as enshrined in the "Equality" Charter of PSL University;
  • reporting breaches of the equal treatment guaranteed to all (recruitment, promotion, etc.) (Contact: @email).

Ethics and scientific integrity

Recognized for the excellence of its research, the EPHE-PSL proposes solutions to contemporary social issues and questions. The EPHE-PSL offers practical training to citizens and managers in the sectors of Life and Earth Sciences, Historical and Philological Sciences and Religious Sciences.
By widely disseminating its research, the EPHE-PSL bases its activities on the principles of integrity and ethics in connection with the network of Integrity Officers. The Charter of Scientific Integrity of PSL University provides a framework for the activities of the component institutions.

Two Academic Integrity Officers, working in pairs, have been appointed to:

  • promote the culture of academic integrity within the institution;
  • to answer questions from research stakeholders on academic integrity;
  • Receive and process reports of breaches of academic integrity.

These are:

As a component institution of PSL University, EPHE-PSL offers its staff the opportunity to acquire and develop complementary professional skills. The PSL Internal School offers continuous and cross-disciplinary training for developing professional potential.
