Our Open Access publications
Several of the EPHE's scientific publications offer a version that is accessible online free of charge, sometimes in parallel with the printed version.
On the one hand, there are the historical publications of the Annuaires de l'École Pratique des Hautes Études (published since the end of the nineteenth century and still in progress). They are divided into the Section of Historical and Philological Sciences and the Section of Religious Sciences. Since 2006, they have also been published online on OpenEdition Journals. The retrospective collections from the first issues to 2007 have been digitized and are available on the national portal Persée.
The Conferences of the École Pratique des Hautes Études, created in 2010 for a wider audience, are also freely available on OpenEdition Books.
There are also laboratory publications that have been converted to the open online format. Created in 1970, the journal Mongolian and Siberian, Central Asian and Tibetan Studies (EMSCAT) is accessible in full text on OpenEdition Journals, starting in 2001. The collection of collective works Systems of Thought in Black Africa, created in 1975, fully accessible.
Finally, the journal Camenae, created in 2007, is freely available and its articles can be downloaded from the website of EA 4116 - SAPRAT (Knowledge and Practices from the Middle Ages to the Contemporary Era).
