Transdisciplinary Institute for the Study of Aging
Created in 2010 to reflect on the major societal issue of ageing, the ITEV proposes—by positioning itself at the interface between science and society—to provide answers through three areas: training, dissemination, and expertise.
The ITEV participates in a transdisciplinary way in the dissemination of knowledge in the field of ageing while promoting a public debate beyond the framework of academic research. ITEV participates in the training of professionals in the sector, in particular through training as a life course coordinator. Finally, it offers its expertise to both public and private actors.
It promotes a conception of ageing as a positive stage of life, with significant societal potential for the future.
